Armstrong MetalFest unveils lineup for 15-year celebration this summer

Armstrong MetalFest is celebrating a milestone this year.

Organizers say the 2025 edition of the music festival, scheduled for Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, will mark “15 years of mountain moshing in the Okanagan!”

And with just over four months to go until then, the lineup of artists that fans will be moshing and headbanging to at Hassan Arena in Armstrong was released this morning.

It features names like Havok, Born Of Osiris, Glyph, Riot City, The Browning, Virvum, Drowning in Blood, Gravemass and plenty more.

"I'm really excited about the diversity of this year's line-up. The selection team has really put in the work,” said Kate Kutzner, president of West Metal Entertainment Society.

“There's sure to be something for everyone: a great mix of trusted favorites and new additions to your playlist for the rest of the year!”

For those who have already purchased their tickets to Armstrong MetalFest 2025, tickets will be on their way in the mail soon.

Anyone still looking to secure their weekend pass to the festival can do so online. All tickets include free camping and access to the festival grounds from 9 am on Friday, July 11, until 10 am on Sunday, July 13.

"This year's festival is a work of art! I can't believe we are on the 15th year already,” noted festival co-founder and general manager Jessie Valstar.

“Time flies when you're setting up a festival full of crushing riffs, soaring vocals and down right nasty beats. Life rules, bring on the summer!"
