If you’re a Blue Rodeo fan in the Okanagan, you’ll have multiple opportunities to see the iconic Canadian band over the coming months.
As the band celebrates four decades of success, they’ll be in Penticton for a Saturday night show at the South Okanagan Events Centre on July 5.
Two nights later, they’ll play at Mission Hill Winery’s stunning outdoor amphitheatre in West Kelowna as part of the annual Summer Concert Series.
And now, this morning, the group has released a long list of fall concert dates that will see them travel across the country as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour.
The legendary alt-country rockers will kick that tour off in Calgary on Oct. 1 and play four shows in Alberta before embarking on the British Columbia leg of the tour.
That leg ends with what will surely be an incredible night of music at Prospera Place on Saturday, Oct. 11.
“Spanning cities from coast to coast, this milestone tour honours one of Canada’s most beloved and enduring bands,” explains a release from promoter Live Nation.
“From their roots in the Toronto club scene to becoming national icons, Blue Rodeo has spent four decades creating the soundtrack to countless Canadian lives — and they’re not done yet.”
Joining Blue Rodeo on the road for this tour will be Nova Scotia rocker Adam Baldwin, who will bring his powerful live energy and East Coast spirit to the stage as an opening act.
Exclusive presale opportunities for this tour are available to Blue Rodeo Fan Club members and through the band’s website starting today.
General ticket sales begins at 10 am on Friday, June 6, through Ticketmaster.
