Canadian DJ duos Loud Luxury and Bob Moses to headline AltiTunes 2025 at Big White

With 11 weeks to go until music fans descend on Big White for the fourth annual AltiTunes Music Festival, we have our first small peek at the lineup.

This morning, Thick as Thieves Entertainment (TATE) unveiled the headliners for AltiTunes 2025, which will take place on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, at Big White Ski Resort.

It’s a pair of Canadian DJ duos that will bring the energy to the mountaintop in early April, with Bob Moses scheduled to headline Friday and Loud Luxury closing out the festival on Saturday.

The roster of emerging and established artists that will fill the rest of the lineup for this spring’s edition of AltiTunes will be announced over the coming weeks.

"We’re thrilled to combine the energy of live music with the unique mountain lifestyle of the Okanagan," said Kurt Jory, co-owner of TATE.

“AltiTunes is about creating unforgettable moments for everyone who loves music, adventure and the outdoors."

This headlining duo will certainly provide some unforgettable moments for those in attendance at the après-ski festival, which acts as a bit of a closing act to the winter season at Big White.

Bob Moses is a product of Vancouver natives Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, and their hit song “Tearing Me Up” earned them a Grammy nomination in 2016.

Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace formed Loud Luxury while attending Western in London, Ont., and have since produced smash radio singles like “Body,” “I’m Not Alright,” “Like Gold” and “Next to You.”

Organizers say the two DJ acts will be the exclamation points on two fantastic days of music and fun, but the AltiTunes setting at Big White means there’s plenty to do beyond the festival gates.

With thousands of music fans coming to the hill for what is the final weekend of the 2023-24 season, it’s expected that many will hit the slopes before getting into concert mode.

"Over three years, TATE has meticulously honed the festival experience, setting the benchmark for outdoor winter concerts globally," noted Trevor Hanna, Big White’s VP of hospitality.

He adds that they’ve crafted “a vibrant, memorable event that draws visitors from afar, marrying the thrills of skiing and snowboarding with the euphoria of a music festival.”

If you’ve yet to experience what Hanna’s talking about, you have the chance to do just that when AltiTunes 2025 rolls around on April 4-5, 2025.

Tickets are available through the AltiTunes website.
