It’s never too early to start making summer plans.
That’s the message from organizers of Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival with eight months still to go before the 33rd annual festival next summer.
And the reason for that message is that early bird tickets for the 2025 event will go on sale to the general public at 9 am on Thursday, Dec. 5.
There’s only a limited number of passes available with the cheaper rate, however, and the price will go up once those tickets are all sold.
“We have thousands of audience members who return year after year, and the day that early bird tickets go on sale is an exciting day,” said Althea Mongerson, the festival’s marketing coordinator.
“This is the best chance to get the best prices, so if you know you’re going to visit the festival, get these passes while you can.”
It’s not just early bird festival passes going on sale next week, as people will also be able to lock down their camping and apply to be a volunteer or vendor at the event.
In addition to opening up more than 600 camping spots, the festival will also release 28 glamping spots when the early bird window opens next week.
Offered in partnership with Wild Havens Pop Up Glamping, the accommodations include a canvas bell tent with foam or air mattresses and the option of two to eight guests.
“We’re excited to offer another accommodation option to make it even more convenient for people to stay in Salmon Arm and enjoy the festival,” Mongerson added.
Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival will be held from July 25-27, 2025, at the Salmon Arm Fair Grounds. The 2025 lineup will be released over the coming months.
