Here’s everything coming to Netflix Canada in September 2025
September will be a relatively unspectacular month if you’re looking for big-name releases, but there’s still plenty of content to look forward to.
Arguably the most recognizable release is a continuation of a show that came out in August, as the second part of season two of Wednesday will be released shortly after the Labour Day long weekend.
New seasons of 1670, Alice in Borderland, Beauty in Black, Her Mother’s Killer and Love Is Blind: Brazil are also coming out in September.
There are plenty of new series making their debuts, of course, and one of the most intriguing is House of Guinness, which is from the creators of Peaky Blinders.
Another intriguing new series set to be released in September is Black Rabbit starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law.
There are a few new Netflix original films, comedy specials and documentaries on the way too.
The one that will likely get the most attention is a documentary on Charlie Sheen, which promises humour, heart and jaw-dropping candor from the actor who is now seven years sober.
And for boxing fans, Netflix will be the streaming platform for the highly-anticipated Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight on Sept. 13.
A special look into the two fighters’ preparation for the bout, narrated by Josh Brolin (English) and Diego Luna (Spanish), called Countdown: Canelo v Crawford will be released nine days earlier.
