Ice Cube bringing his Straight Into Canada Tour to the Okanagan

One of hip hop's biggest names will be making his way to the Okanagan in the new year.

Ice Cube has announced a handful of Western Canadian dates in February 2024 and it includes British Columbian stops in Abbotsford and Penticton.

The Straight Into Canada Tour will be at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Xzibit and DJ Kav are pegged as the opening acts.

Ice Cube is an award-winning musician, actor, director and producer who is considered one of the most influential rappers of all time.

He penned some of the most memorable lyrics on NWA’s groundbreaking songs “Straight Outta Compton” and “F**k Tha Police” before leaving the group at the height of its popularity.

The Los Angeles native then embarked on one of the most successful solo careers in music history, selling more than 10-million albums worldwide.

In 2016, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets to see Ice Cube in February will go on sale at 10 am on Friday, Nov. 10, either online through Valley First or in person at the SOEC box office.
