Do you like big trucks? Big wheels? Big air?
Monster Jam is dropping into Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum National Exhibition with some monstrous trucks from Mar. 8 to 10 with an unscripted show ready to fill the stadium and empty the tank in high octane, pedal-to-floor excitement.
On the roster for the 2019 show is Monster Jam super-truck icon “Grave Digger,” driven by Tyler Menninga, 2018 Triple Threat Series East Champion; with World Finals Champion and Canada’s own “Northern Nightmare,” driven by Cam McQueen who is returning to Vancouver to compete for the first time since 2015; as well as two Vancouver truck debuts from “Jekyll & Hyde” (driven by Auston Minton) and “EarthShaker” (Steve Thompson) joining the show.
Also featured in the weekend special is “Zombie,” driven by Paul Strong; “Iron Outlaw,” driven by Tanner Root; “Time Flys,” driven by Kelvin Ramer; and “Wild Flower,” driven by Rosalee Ramer.
Monster Jam will open the super-truck action on Mar. 8 at 7 p.m., with the trained male and female athletes showcasing their physical strength, mental stamina, dexterity and mastery of the 12,000-pound beasts.
Saturday and Sunday events will also feature Pit Party pre-show experiences where fans can take a close look at their favourite super-trucks and have an opportunity to meet the men and women behind the wheel for autographs and photos.
The show will resume on Mar. 9 from 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., with a Pit Party open from 10:30 a.m. until noon, where drivers will continue to lift off ramps into high-octane backflips, walk on two-wheels and race at speeds exceeding 70-mph.
Monster Jam will conclude on Mar. 10 with another Pit Party from 10:30 a.m. to noon and one last event at 1 p.m.
Fans in every city, including Vancouver, will also have the chance to vote for the winner in a two-wheel and freestyle competition through a real-time, in-stadium fan voting system straight from their smartphones.
Tickets can be found here with seat prices starting at $18 per person and Pit Passes available for purchase for $15 each.
