Music festivals were cancelled all over the globe in 2020 and Osheaga Music and Arts Festival was no exception.
The Foo Fighters, Lizzo and Kendrick Lamar were scheduled to headline the massive Montreal event, which was of course shelved because of COVID-19.
While there’s no guarantee that the festival will be able to go ahead in 2021, organizers are clearly feeling confident because the three headliners for the 2021 edition of the festival were announced today.
The Foo Fighters are the only one of the three 2020 headliners that is on the 2021 bill so far and they will be joined at the festival by Cardi B and Post Malone.
The festival typically announces its full lineup later in the winter, so don't expect any news on the undercard until January at least.

It’s far too early to say that Osheaga will take place for sure in 2021, but with the COVID-19 vaccine expected to roll out over the course of 2021 in Canada, there’s certainly a chance.
If public health orders allow for the popular festival to take place, it will run from July 30-Aug. 1 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal.
Anyone who’s feeling confident that it will be able to go ahead next summer and is considering a trip to Quebec can already purchase tickets through the Osheaga website.
