Shambhala 2025 sells out in less than 24 hours

The lineup won’t be released for months, but that didn’t matter.

Less than 50 days after people left the Shambhala grounds in Salmo following the 2024 event, tickets for the 2025 edition of the music festival went on sale last Friday.

And for the second year in a row, they sold out in less than 24 hours.

"With the event landscape being as challenging as it is, we're profoundly thankful for the outpouring of support from our community this past weekend,” said Neil MacLeod, Shambhala Music Festival CEO.

“It’s a testament to the loyalty of our guests, the passion of the talented artists who grace our stages, and the hard work and dedication of every Shambhala crew member who helps bring the farm magic to life.”

MacLeod added that the Shambhala team’s commitment remains to enhance the experience for all who attend and they can’t wait to see everyone on the dance floor from July 25-28, 2025.

For those who missed their small window to secure their pass to the 26th annual Shambhala next summer, there is a waitlist form created for both tickets and lodging.

Festival fans are also encouraged to apply to join the 2025 crew when that process opens early in the new year.

“Shambhala volunteers and staff are recognized as the backbone of the festival and the driving force behind its success,” said a release from the festival.

“Crew members receive a GA ticket, exclusive Shambhala Music Festival swag, specialized crew camping options and more.”

Founded by Jimmy Bundschuh in 1998 at his family-run farm in Salmo, Shambhala remains Canada’s longest-running electronic dance music festival.
