A pair of Canadian rock bands have announced a 19-show fall tour and their only BC Interior stop will be in the Okanagan.
The Tea Party and I Mother Earth will bring their cross-Canada tour to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Thursday, Nov. 16.
General admission tickets are $40 plus fees and they will go on sale this Thursday at 10 am.
The Tea Party consists of Jeff Martin, Stuart Chatwood and Jeff Burrows, who got their start in Windsor all the way back in 1990.
The band released six studio albums before splitting up for six years in 2005 and have added two more to their discography since reuniting in 2011.
They’ve sold more than three-million records worldwide and have toured their home country more than 20 times.
I Mother Earth, a creation of brothers Christian and Jag Tanna, formed in nearby Toronto in 1990 as well and took a similar hiatus to The Tea Party between 2004-12.
The band released four albums before their 2004 split, but have yet to release a full studio album since reuniting over a decade ago.
However, I Mother Earth has released several popular singles in that time, including “We Got The Love,” “The Devil’s Engine” and “Blossom.”
