VIDEO: Ryan Reynolds set to narrate film on B.C's Great Bear Rainforest

It only makes sense to have a Canadian narrate a movie about Canada.

That’s why Ryan Reynolds will be narrating a new IMAX documentary about the Great Bear Rainforest.

Directed by Ian McAllister, executive director of Pacific Wild, the film took three years to produce and will follow the same lines as Planet Earth productions.

The only difference is we will be listening to the explanations of Reynolds and not David Attenborough.

“I want my children to know there is still an area in this world that has remained wild, and will remain that way, because of the long history of stewardship shown by indigenous people,” says Reynolds.

“I hope this film inspires the younger generation that there is hope for the future if we all work together and take care of our planet’s remaining wild places.”

The film is set to premiere in Vancouver on Feb. 12, 2019, and will then be available to the public in Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto and Sudbury starting Feb. 15.
