There are some seriously spooky events happening around Kamloops these next couple of weeks.
Getting into the spirit of Halloween means corn mazes, haunted houses and epic costume parties.
We have you covered and created a list of all the spooktacular Halloween events taking place in Kamloops.
Just don’t blame us if you get scared!
All aboard the Kamloops Heritage Railway! You can take part in this dark and mysterious journey with both the living and the dead! Attendees will hear scary tales of love, betrayal and insanity in this hour and a half ride.
The Ghost Train runs Oct. 26, 27 and 29 at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $17 to $29 per person and parental supervision is advised.
This family-friendly afternoon train ride will take you and your family to the pumpkin patch to choose the perfect pumpkin! Make sure you dress up.
The train will run on Oct. 27 and 28 at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $5 to $29 per person.
It’s back! Dress up with the family and experience a haunted maze, animal encounters and historical swordplay at the BC Wildlife Park.
The event will run from Oct. 26 to 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This seriously scary corn maze will have you feeling like you’re in a horror movie. Head down to Sunset Valley Farm on from Oct. 19 to 21 to take part!
If you’re looking for all the adventure of a corn maze, minus the scary, Sunset Valley Farm has you covered. Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. you can get lost in the beautiful maze with your family. Don’t give up!
On Oct. 27, you can experience what it’s like to walk amongst the dead in our downtown. The Kamloops Zombie Walk showcases the scariest and most creative zombies. They look so good, you would swear they were real! Come down and take in all the fleshy and bloody goodness. There’s nothing to be scared about.
If you’re into escape rooms and learning about the history of Kamloops, than this new attraction is for you! Tranquille Tunnel Theatre and Chimera Theatre are bringing a brand new escape room experience to the abandoned tunnels of Tranquille.
As we all know, Padova is the old sanitarium that has since been abandoned. So why not get locked in the basement of it for 60 minutes while you and your friends anxiously solve clues to escape? It’s literally the perfect Halloween activity!
The 4th annual Halloween Fireworks is back on Oct. 20! This year’s theme is Pumpkin Head so make sure you dress accordingly. There will be a dance floor, hot drinks, candy and food! Doors to Lysons Landscaping will open at 6 p.m. with fireworks beginning at 8 p.m. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the United Way Thompson Nicole Cariboo and Kamloops Food Bank!
On Oct. 25, the Open Door Group's Gardengate Horticulture Program will be hosting the annual event. Walk down a spooky path illuminated by hundreds of Jack-o-lanterns. Admission is free!
Time to get spooked in the old courthouse downtown! From Oct. 26 to 28, you can see what makes this place so creepy! The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tickets are $5.
