The Harrison Tulip Festival is almost ready to welcome visitors for the 2025 season.
It’s Canada’s largest tulip festival farm experience, located in Agassiz with the stunning backdrop of Mount Cheam, and it opens on Tuesday, April 15.
There are 40 breathtaking acres of vibrant blooms, with more than 100 tulip and 15 double daffodil varieties making up a total of 12-million bulbs planted.
There won’t be much time to take in the stunning scene, however, as the festival only runs for around four weeks.
It’s a great place to soak in the beauty of spring with plenty of fantastic photo opportunities throughout the site.
Along with rows of beautiful flowers, there are onsite attractions like a windmill, swing sets, antique tractors and horse carts, vintage bicycles, a 1950s convertible and a 1965 Airstream trailer to create that perfect Insta-worthy shot.
In fact, the Harrison Tulip Festival earned a World Tulip Award last fall at the annual World Tulip Summit in Holland, as it was named the Best Instagrammable Tulip Farm.
“The Harrison Tulip Festival provides visitors a one-of-a-kind experience and scenic view, with endless tulip fields against an iconic backdrop of the snow capped mountains of the Fraser Valley, making it the perfect Instagrammable spot for tulips,” noted Ibo Gülsen, chair of the World Tulip Society.
From April 15 until approximately mid-May, the Harrison Tulip Festival will be open seven days a week – from 10 am until 6:30 pm on weekdays and 6 am until 6:30 pm on weekends and holidays.
The cost to enter the site at 5039 Lougheed Hwy in Agassiz is $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for kids aged three to 12.
