Why does Ontario always seem to get the good stuff first?
That seems to be the case with the latest creation from A&W, which will surely drive a lot of people outside Canada’s largest province a little mad.
The fast-food chain is testing a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich in select Canadian locations, but so far that only means in Toronto.
According to the A&W website, it’s “5 oz of crispy, crunchy chicken, sweet pickles and Nashville-style aioli, all on a brioche bun.”
From the photos on the A&W website and posted to Instagram by those who have been lucky enough to try it this week, it looks absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately, it’s a Toronto-based delicacy at the moment, but as we know with most of these fast-food chains, limited releases like this are often a test run for national production.
We can only hope the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich makes its way west soon.
