A&W launches new frozen root beer lineup

If you’re one of the many devoted fans of A&W root beer, you are going to love this.

A&W has a new frozen root beer lineup that has arrived at many of its locations across Canada, just in time to beat the summer heat.

Karan Suri, director of menu development for the fast food chain, calls it a new take on A&W’s classic root beer that Canadians have grown up loving.

“The frozen texture adds a new dimension to the smooth and creamy taste of our signature root beer,” she explains. “This frozen treat is perfect for hot summer days or whenever you're craving an icy, nostalgic beverage.”

The frozen root beer lineup features three tasty options:

• Frozen A&W Root Beer: Classic A&W root beer blended with ice.
• A&W Root Beer Sweet Cream Shake: Classic A&W root beer mixed with sweet cream and blended with ice.
• A&W Root Beer Mocha Shake: Classic A&W root beer mixed with cold brew coffee and sweet cream, and blended with ice.

The new frozen root beer lineup is all part of A&W’s Brew Bar program, which started rolling out in the spring of 2021 and is now featured at 520 A&W restaurants across Canada.
