Hallelujah, it’s the long weekend!
The Family Day weekend is a much-needed three days off as we plow through the dreariest days of winter.
For me, it means a trip east to visit some family in the Golden area and that always comes with a visit to Whitetooth Brewing.
(If you haven’t figured it out by now, I don’t work weekends and write this column on Fridays. I could even be enjoying a pint at Whitetooth right now!)
So instead of featuring a specific beer or type of beer in this week’s column, I wanted to give a little shine to one of BC’s best kept brewery secrets.
Founded in late 2016, Whitetooth crafts small batch Belgian-inspired and West Coast influenced beers in the beautiful town of Golden.
The brewery has racked up a ton of awards over the years and their core six beers are behind many of those honours.
Here’s a look at those year-round core beers at Whitetooth:
Of course, as you can see from the photos, Whitetooth has way more than just six beers on the go.
The brewery is always releasing fun seasonals and limited-release beers as well, which you can discover more about through their website, Facebook or Instagram.
Keep an eye out for Whitetooth beer at your favourite liquor store and be sure to grab some if you see it on the shelves, you won’t be disappointed!
