McDonald’s Monopoly returns to Canada

For the next month, there will be an added element of fun when you grab a quick meal at McDonald’s after hockey practice or a long day at work.

That’s because McDonald’s Monopoly is back in Canada until Nov. 8, with more than $80 million in prizes to be won.

That includes free food, cash, gift cards and even vehicles.

Monopoly game pieces can be found on select McDonald’s food packaging for things like Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, 10- or 20-piece nuggets, medium or large drinks, large fries and more.

Some game pieces will produce instant wins of McDonald’s food items like fries, drinks, coffees, McFlurries and pastries, while others will have Canadian-themed Monopoly properties on them.

You can collect those properties and input them on the McDonald’s game website, with plenty of big prizes available for completing a set.

However, completing a set is hard, since each one has one very rare piece, but even entering the properties through the game website or McDonald’s app can be rewarding.

For every seven properties entered, you can earn Monopoly Rewards to get certain deals on your next McDonald’s order.

You will have until Nov. 29, three weeks after the game ends, to claim any prizes you may have won.
