Tim Hortons launches limited edition NHL mascot cups just in time for the playoffs

The NHL playoffs are right around the corner and Tim Hortons is certainly getting in the spirit.

The coffee chain has introduced seven reusable, collectable cups, each featuring the official mascot of one of the seven Canadian teams.

Each comes with the purchase of a Timmies Minis pack and it gives children and adults alike the chance to collect their favourite team’s cup and others.

If you didn’t already know the Canadian teams’ mascots, here’s what you’re trying to add to your collection:

Edmonton Oilers – Hunter
Calgary Flames – Harvey the Hound
Montreal Canadiens – Youppi!
Ottawa Senators – Spartacat
Toronto Maple Leafs – Carlton
Vancouver Canucks – Fin
Winnipeg Jets – Moose

Another reason to try and collect them all is that 10 cents from every purchase of a Timmies Minis pack will go to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, helping build brighter futures for youth across Canada.
