One of the most popular cereals of the 1990s is set to make a triumphant return to Canadian grocery store shelves.
For the first time since 2005, Trix cereal will be a permanent fixture in Canada and it’ll be exactly like how you remember it from two decades ago.
“Over the years, Trix has had a dedicated following with fans longing for their favourite cereal to return to their bowls,” said Fawad Farrukh from General Mills Cereal Canada.
“We heard them and are excited to bring back the iconic fruity shapes to add some joy to their breakfast.”
The iconic cereal with the fruity shapes debuted in Canada in 1994 and quickly became an iconic piece of ‘90s pop culture history.
General Mills says the latest version of Trix is fortified with nine vitamins and minerals and made from whole grain.
Look for the classic cereal to appear on grocery store shelves later this summer.
And we'd be remiss if we didn't say...silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!
