Ooh Kabsa is barely a month old and residents throughout Kamloops are already raving about their cuisine imported from Saudi Arabia. The restaurant became a reality thanks to a couple of business students at Thompson Rivers University (TRU).
Ooh Kabsa features a list of delicious authentic dishes including mouth watering Shawarma Chicken wraps, Falafel wraps, hummous and even delightful Arabia coffee.

The business students wanted to bring some cultural understanding to the Interior where Middle Eastern culture is rarely publicly shared. The restaurant aims to not only please the stomachs of customers but also share a piece of their culture.
The welcome and warm atmosphere is noticeable immediately upon entering the restaurant, which was packed during their lunchtime rush.

While Ooh Kabsa has already received a lot of attention by surprising local residents with their Saudi cuisine, their authentic food will attract residents who want to enjoy something different.
One customer, Damoon Hossin, commented that he and his family loved the Kebadh with Hummous and Shaskoka with Kebab and Mafrum.

Ooh Kabsa, located at 101 - 795 McGill Road nearby TRU, is opened Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and catering events.
