Kamloops is getting warmer, which means it’s nearing the time that a giant slip n’ slide will take over the city.

The location has now been set for Slide the City’s visit to Kamloops this summer. The company behind the 1000 foot long slip n’ slide says that they’ll be setting up the fun on Hillside Drive between Hillside Way and Notre Dame Drive. Get ready to beat the heat on the hill by cruising down on a tube or other inflatable.
Slide the City announced back in January that Kamloops would be one of three B.C. cities to host the massive green vinyl slide, which has already toured all over the United States. Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but they should cost $15 to $60, depending on when you buy and how many times you want to slide.

Though the website says that the giant slide will be coming in July, a specific date has not yet been released.
Whenever it comes, be prepared to get soaked on a ride down the length of three football fields.
