Peavey Mart is Coming to Kamloops

Kamloops will soon be home to a new 35,000 square foot Peavey Mart store to be located in ValleyView Square.

The company’s 34^th store and second B.C. location is set to open in Kamloops by October. Peavey Mart stores are based in Red Deer, Alberta and have 33 other locations across Western Canada including in Dawson Creek.

Peavey Marts stock products under the “Hardware and A Whole Lot More” tagline, including top brand names in farm supplies, lawn and garden, work clothing, household items, and pet supplies. Each store also has an electric car charging station.

“There’s nothing else like Peavey Mart,” said the company’s President, Doug Anderson. “We have a unique mix of traditional and innovative items.”

Anderson says shoppers from Kamloops and area will be able to bring in their electric car for a free charge, get their supplies for canning or home meat processing, and then find toolboxes, welders and work clothing.

At Christmas, Peavey Marts have unique farm toys. In the Spring, the garden centre will have baby chicks or honey bees for sale.
