Father’s Day is quickly approaching, and if you still need ideas on how to spend the day with Dad, Kamloops is home to a multitude of Father's Day events.

The B.C. Wildlife Park is hosting family fun activities all day starting at 9:30 a.m. The list of activities includes a family farm, a scavenger hunt, and watching grizzly bear and bobcat feedings.

The park is once again sponsoring the Do It For Dad event for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of B.C. The event includes a pancake breakfast, a five-kilometre walk/run, and live entertainment.

The Heffley Creek Hall is hosting the Father’s Day Brunch and Car Show. There will be a pancake breakfast, a swap meet, flea market, craft fair, and old car show all in one place, located 20 minutes north of Kamloops near the Sun Peaks turnoff. Any driver of an old car will get a free meal.

The Kamloops & District Fish & Game Association is offering the opportunity to fish for free at Walloper Lake as part of the Family Fishing Weekend.

The Fireside Steakhouse & Bar is offering a special Father’s Day three-course steak meal for $45 per person.

Romeo’s Kitchen + Spirits is hosting a Father’s Day Brunch from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for $25 per person.
