The B.C. Coroner’s Office is investigating a death of an elderly woman near Kamloops after a dog-mauling Saturday night.
On January 30th, just after 5 p.m., Kamloops Rural RCMP were called to a home on Shuswap Road West to a reported death, linked to a possible dog mauling.
The 78-year-old woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
RCMP went outside, where they had to dispatch the dog, allowing BC Ambulance to reach the victim.
