Details of the bail hearing, that took place last week, are unable to be published due to a court-ordered publication ban.

In the early morning hours of June 19, Teichrieb saw Simpson standing on his driveway. The two had a confrontation in which Teichrieb allegedly beat Jessie Simpson with a baseball bat.

Simpson has been in a coma at the Royal Inland Hospital since the incident.

A GoFundMe campaign created by a friend of Simpson has raised over $10,000.
