An Okanagan couple is starring alongside Samuel L. Jackson, James Cameron and Penn Jillette in a documentary, which you can get a sneak peak of here in Kamloops.
The major documentary film, “Eating You Alive” features Naramata couple, Don and Sheanne Moskaluk and it will screen in Kamloops on February 2nd at Thompson Rivers University.
“The film is a feature-length documentary revealing the truth behind why North Americans are so sick and what we can do about it,” state producer Marrilee Jacobs. “It features world-leading medical and research experts in the field of human nutrition and medicine.”
The film features several health success stories, including veteran Interior police spokesperson, Don Moskaluk.
Moskaluk was diagnosed with “terminal” stage four kidney cancer in 2013 and attributes the adoption of Whole-Food Plant-Based nutrition as a major factor in beating the disease.
“My nutrition was a big part of my healing strategy and seeing that I was given a terminal prognosis, there is little doubt as to why I’m still alive,” said Dan Moskaluk.
Don and his wife Sheanne will both at the screening to speak with guests.
Other health success stories featured in the film include celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson and Peter Cameron, along with his wife, Suzy Amis Cameron.
The film is slated for a North American wide release later in 2017.
