Music in the Park is returning to Riverside Park with a kick off celebration on Canada Day.
BCLC and the City of Kamloops are presenting the 30th season of Music in the Park, which takes place all summer long at the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside from July 1 to Aug. 31.
The event provides the community with free, nightly performances by talented artists from the local area and across the country.
This year’s season kicks off with music by Kings of Nashville, Buck Wild and Bad Moon Riders.
Food trucks will be set up each night of the festival from 7-8:30 pm. A schedule for performances and food trucks is available here.
The city advises all residents that all concerts are weather and air quality permitting and are subject to change without notice.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the Kamloops Food Bank on July 1 and July 24 to give back to those in the community who are in need.
Residents are also encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and shake out your picnic blankets.
