Music in the Park is returning to Riverside Park with a kick off celebration on Canada Day.
BCLC and the City of Kamloops are presenting the 31st season of Music in the Park, which takes place all summer long at the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside from July 1 to Aug. 31.
The season kicks off with performances by The Daytime Highs, Angie Heinze Band, and Shattered Blue.
The event provides the community with free, nightly performances from 7-8:30 pm by talented artists from the local area and across the country.
Each performance is sure to have something for every one with musical genres including rock, country, folk, pop, and contemporary.
Food trucks will be set up each night of the festival at Heritage House (100 Lorne Street) starting at 6 pm each night.
A schedule for performances is available here.
The city advises all residents that all concerts are weather and air quality permitting and are subject to change without notice.
BCLC says residents should stay tuned for the announcement
