50 more thefts from vehicles in Kamloops last week

If you live in Kamloops, it is best not to leave anything in your vehicle overnight.

According to police, another 50 thefts from vehicles took place in the River City over the past week.

Highlighted by yellow cars, North Kamloops saw the most incidents with 11. Brocklehurst also saw four thefts, a number slightly higher than usual.

A total of 12 thefts took place between the Sagebrush Theatre, downtown Kamloops, and the West End. Dufferin saw it's most thefts of the year with four all occurring on Mount Dufferin Avenue.

Thefts not on the map included one in Tranquille and two in rural areas. Two thefts were also unable to be mapped.
