A film company is setting up shop in Ashcroft to shoot scenes for an upcoming project. The company put out a call for background extras willing to play "townspeople."
Residents interested will need to be available for 12 or more hours on Jan. 31st, and Feb. 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. If chosen, you will need to attend a one to two-hour paid costume fitting near the end of the week at a location to be named.
The role, which pays between $14 and $15 an hour with overtime, is for people of all ages. The scene is set in a small rural town, hence Ashcroft...
