Head down to Riverside Park next month for a great workouts in support of a local cause. Anytime Fitness has partnered with the Kamloops Food Bank for Wellness Weekends for Charity during the entire month of May.
The gym is hosting group fitness sessions every Saturday in Riverside Park from 10 a.m. to noon and collecting donations for the local food bank.
“We want to show people how fun and community-minded wellness can be and how we can give back in the process,” said Anytime Fitness owner Trevor Mann.
Workouts will be lead by certified personal trainers and designed for people of every fitness level. Weekly sessions will include prize giveaways, music, free nutritional samples and free yoga sessions in addition to the workout. Anyone is welcome to participate and registration is not required.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a monetary or non-perishable food donation for the Kamloops Food Bank.
Sessions will run on May 5, May 12, May 19 and May 26. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. Find updates and details on the Facebook event page.
