The Kamloops Arts Council is reminding all residents that Art in the Park is less than two weeks away.
The annual event will be happening alongside Canada Day festivities in Riverside Park along with Kamloops Multicultural Society’s Folkfest.
Over 70 artists and artisans will have their work on display and for purchase.
“This juried show promises a variety of quality art and fine crafts, you won't want to miss out on one of the best festivals that the city has to offer,” says a news release from the KAC.
“There will be varying vendors from jewellers, painters, henna artists, and more!”
In addition to Art in the Park, there will be performances happening throughout the day including theatrics, musicians, dancers and characters, the KAC says.
The event runs from 9 am to 4 pm on July 1 in the Riverside Park Rose Gardens.
