The Kamloops Arts Council recently completed a mural that they say "embodies Kamloops."

Displayed at the Brocklehurst Arena, the mural is all about Canada's multicultural heritage.

Completed by artist Chris Bose, with help from Four Directions, Arbour Collective, and the Community of Kamloops, the image is broken down into 150 separate pieces. Those pieces turn into a 150 square foot mural.

On June 21st, the Kamloops Arts Council will acknowledge the collaborative effort and thank the funders for the project.

All residents are invited to the ceremony taking place at 2470 Fleetwood Avenue at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony is running in conjunction with National Aboriginal Day.
