BrewLoops is inviting residents to a day of music, craft beer and cider for the Rhythm and Brews events happening at McArthur Island in September.
Twenty six different beers, over 15 breweries and cideries, 15 different BC artisanal gins and a range of unique cocktails and a selection of non-alcoholic options will be available.
The new “Farmhouse Tent” will showcase more than 30 rare and limited-release farmhouse, barrel-aged sour, and wild-fermented beers and ciders, says BrewLoops.
Organizers say there will also be two stages set up for live music from The Zolas, The Boom Booms and daysormay.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring together the best of music and craft beer for the Kamloops community,” said Mitch Forgie of BrewLoops.
“With the backdrop of McArthur Island and a fantastic lineup of artists and brewers, Rhythm and Brews is set to be a highlight of the season.”
In addition to music and drink options, there will be a variety of food trucks, interactive activities, a night market featuring over 100 vendors from across the province.
Forgie says the event will run in partnership with the 2024 Canadian & World FireFit Championships, which is a competition that tests a variety of firefighting tasks and sees competitors from across the world.
The event happens on September 28 and early bird tickets are available until Sept. 1.
