Interior Health is working to stop the spread of another COVID-19 outbreak, this time in Kamloops.
According to IH, two COVID cases were confirmed at the Ponderosa Lodge. They were found on the first and second floors of the lodge.
At this point, no deaths have been reported. The third floor also remains safe from exposures.
"We are conducting asymptomatic testing of residents, all non-urgent appointments have been temporarily paused, and all non-essential visits have been temporarily paused."
"Admissions and discharges are also paused, however requests for admission/discharge may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Medical Health Officer."
