It’s been a Kamloops staple for over four decades, and 2022 marks the 45th season of the Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Outdoor Market.
On April 23 the market returns and will run every Saturday from 8:30 AM and runs until 12:30 PM on St. Paul St, between 2nd and 3rd Ave.
You definitely won’t want to miss out on the first market back as this Saturday is anticipated to see nothing but sun and get up to a whopping 20°C.
On top of the return of outdoor markets, The Midweek Market will re-open on May 4, running every Wednesday from 8 AM to 2 PM in the 400 block of Victoria St.
The Kamloops Farmers Market is also excited to announce they secured funding for an accessibility ramp to improve access to the Stuart Wood schoolyard via the middle gate in the market area.
“It has long been a barrier to those using wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers, strollers, and wagons in accessing that area of the market,” explained the release.
With access to the market for individuals of all abilities, people can explore a number of local vendors running right into October.
“We anticipate a strong showing of vendors including from all of our major vendor categories – Farmers, Prepared Food, Artisans and Crafters. All products are made, baked or grown by our vendors within BC, the majority within a 100 km radius of Kamloops,” said the Kamloops Farmers Market.
Load up on fresh veggies, flowers, farm eggs, local honey, jams, bread, soups, handcrafted jewellery, art, beauty products and so much more.
