A report of an alleged shooting led RCMP officers to seizing drugs and cash last week.
According to a news release from the Kamloops RCMP, officers were called to the 200-block of Victoria Street W. in response to a shooting around 7:35 am.
A suspect was located and, as a part of the investigation, police found what appeared to be a black handgun, which was later confirmed to be a BB gun.
Officers also located tools, drugs, cash and other undisclosed items.
The suspect was arrested and lodged at the detachment’s cells.
The release says he was given a court date and conditions.
According to the release, charge recommendations are expected.
