Despite scoring 31 times in 4 games, Blazers remain ranked 7th in CHL Top 10

It looks as though the Kamloops Blazers aren't getting much love with the CHL...

One week after scoring 31 goals in four wins, the Blazers find themselves still ranked seventh in the CHL Top 10 for week 18.

In addition to the 31 goals in four games, the Blazers are also riding an eight-game winning streak, which includes a 12-3 win and a 9-0 shutout. Kamloops hasn't given up a goal since January 17th, over 120 minutes of action.

Ranked ahead of the Blazers are the Ottawa 67's in first, the Portland Winterhawks in second, the Sherbrooke Phoenix in third, the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in fourth, the Edmonton Oil Kings in fifth, and the Moncton Wildcats in sixth. Teams ranked fourth to ninth didn't see any movement in the standings.

Up next, Kamloops heads to Prince George to take on the Cougars this Friday. Puck drop is at 7 pm in the CN Centre.
