Here's what bus service will look like in Kamloops over the holidays

The holidays are just days away and many will be preparing to take some time off work to spend time with family and friends.

However, most will continue working between Dec. 24 and Jan. 2 and there will be a mix of weekend-level service, limited service and regular service in Kamloops.

So, for those who use Kamloops' transit system to get to work, or plan on taking a bus to get home from a holiday gathering or Boxing Day shopping, here is how the holidays will affect bus schedules across the city.

On Monday, Dec. 25, there will be no bus service in Kamloops.

On Tuesday, Dec. 26, buses will be running on a Saturday schedule.

Buses will be following a regular service on Sunday, Dec. 31 and free service starts at 6 pm, which means buses will be running late into the night and offering up a safe, reliable way to get home from New Year’s Eve festivities.

On Monday, Jan. 1, buses will be running on Sunday service.

Everything returns to normal on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
