Kamloops rap sensation Joey Hyde is gearing up to spit some bars tonight at Colombo Lodge.
Joining Hyde will be numerous talents including Leno, the Lostboys, LNDN and social media star Lil Windex.
Hyde explained he was excited to perform again in the city he calls home.
"We're super excited, a lot of months went into planning this, lots of long hours, and a lot of money," said Hyde. "I've got a bunch of good friends and business associates who are joining me for the first time under JH Entertainment."
So far, 200 tickets have been sold to the event while Hyde expects more to be sold at the door.
"It's a 400 capacity at Colombo Lodge and we are looking to do our third sell out."
The night starts with a DJ set from LNDN at 8:00 p.m., Lostboys will then perform their radio hit "Malibu," before Joey Hyde and Leno get on stage. Lil Windex will by go next to bring the house down.
Hyde mentioned that Supreme Patty, a rapper with over 6.3 million followers on Instagram, was to be in attendance as the headliner, but complications at Pearson International Airport will cause him to miss the show.
Hyde went on to say that though Supreme Patty won't make it, he is still amped up for the opportunity.
"I'm really excited to have a great, responsible function in the beautiful city of Kamloops, British Columbia. I'm excited to show that all ages event can be successful in our city as well and I'm excited to bring some big names to our city."
Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Colombo Lodge or through here.
