Kamloops Fire Rescue recruiting on-call firefighters

Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) is recruiting paid on-call firefighters to serve four neighbourhoods in the city.

KFR is looking for on-call firefighters for Fire Station No. 5, which serves Rayleigh and Heffley Creek, and Fire Station No. 6, which serves Dallas and Barnhartvale.

A news release says paid on-call firefighters provide support to full time firefighters, which can include responding to fires and emergencies, equipment maintenance and weekly training.
