UPDATE: Roads reopen following fire-related closure, say Kamloops RCMP

(UPDATE: Nov. 14 @ 3:50 pm) – The Kamloops RCMP have confirmed that the road closures at 12th Street and Sudbury Avenue have been lifted.

No additional information has been released about what may have caused the fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon.

(Original story: Nov. 14 @ 2:21 pm) – Kamloops Fire Rescue is on the scene of a large fire on the North Shore.

The Kamloops RCMP says there are road closures at 12th Street and Sudbury Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Crews are responding to a residential fire and people are being advised to find an alternative route.

The KFR asks the public to give firefighters room to work.
