Kamloops Fire Rescue has had a busy morning, dealing with multiple incidents throughout the city.
According to Platoon Captain Darryl Cooper, since 6 am, crews have been called out to three car accidents, a fire alarm, and a medical emergency.
"We are running off our feet here today," said Cooper. "Mostly car accidents, one, two, three, then we had a fire alarm and a medical so it's been a busy morning."
Cooper explained that one of those car accidents was between a school bus and City Transit, though it resulted in no injuries.
"That's correct, on Summit and Notre Dame there... No injuries on the transit school bus one, but the one on the East Trans Canada Highway at the Yellowhead, it looked like the ambulance was going to transport. On that one, it was a pickup truck and a van into a power pole."
Cooper went on to say that residents need to stay cautious and drive to the conditions.
"The roads are slippery for sure right now, that's all I can really say about that, the roads are slippery so drive with caution out there."
