Kamloops Fire Rescue unveiled its new logo today.
KFR was established on August 7th, 1884, making it the second oldest fire department in BC. Since its inception, firefighters proudly wore a variety of logos while protecting and saving residents in the community.
The new logo is overlaid upon the Maltese cross and represents courage and bravery. It incorporates the City's crest, which represents the partners in the city KFR serves.
“We’re excited to share our new logo, which encompasses our history and dedication to the City of Kamloops, which we are proud to serve,” Said Mike Adams, KFR’s Fire Chief.
