Kamloops Mounties saved a person during a mental health crisis from the Red Bridge Monday night.
Officers received a call from a “third-party” that a person was on the bridge in emotional distress and were able to quickly respond to the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries or tragedies were reported Monday evening.
The person was found near the bridge on Lorne Street and apprehended under the Mental Health Act.
Officers say the person was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
