Kamloops Mounties trying to ID youths accused of breaking into building

The Kamloops RCMP is turning to the public in hopes of identifying two youths connected to an investigation.

According to police, the youths allegedly broke into a building in the 100 block of St. Paul Street on Feb. 20.

They are said to have gained entry to an office where they stole keys that allowed them access to all areas of the building, including the roof.

“Local efforts to identify the male youths have been unsuccessful to date,” noted S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet.

Both of the youths are described as Indigenous males between 12-16 years of age with brown eyes.

One was wearing a baseball hat, black pants and white running shoes, while the other had brown hair and was wearing a black and white patterned hoodie with black jeans.

Anyone with information that could help identify these two youths is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2026-5345.
