Kamloops RCMP needed to be sharp on Tuesday after responding to a break and enter at Cobbs Bakery.
According to police, at 4 am, police received report of a window being broken at the bakery on Columbia Street West.
When officers arrived, they found the front door glass had been smashed by a rock. It appears that the only item taken from the bakery was a donation box from the front counter.
A short time later, a 56-year-old man was arrested a few blocks away.
All investigative material from the incident has been forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service who will determine the charges.
