The Kamloops RCMP are asking members of the community to keep an eye out for several missing pieces of jewelry that have been stolen.
Mounties say the items hold “significant” value for the owner, who is fearful they might end up sold.
On Friday afternoon, the detachment released images of a “distinct” blue rectangular pendant that was reported as stolen.
According to a news release, the pendant was allegedly stolen from an address on the 1800-block of the Trans Canada Highway East.
Police describe the pendant as having a gold flower in the middle, inlaid with diamonds, and a pearl perimeter.
In addition, a Crown Royal purple velvet bag which contained watches, chains, a pair of pearl earrings and an emerald green ring are also missing, the news release says.
“If anyone recognizes the jewelry and knows someone who has it, or has come across the items for sale online or somewhere else, please contact police as soon as possible so that we may further the investigation,” says Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.
Those with information are asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at (250) 828-3000 and reference file 2024-21784.
