Kamloops RCMP is looking to the public to locate a male driver who struck a customer at the Rock'n Firkin Pub with his vehicle.
According to police, on June 15th at 10 p.m., a man and woman exited the Rock'n Firkin Pub without paying their bill. A customer followed them to the parking lot, explaining to them they needed to pay before leaving.
Police explained that the male suspect becomes verbally confrontational, got into his vehicle and sped towards the customer, striking him in the act. The suspect then drove away.
The victim received serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Police described the driver as a Caucasian man in his 50s or 60s with scruffy facial hair and balding, short hair. At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a red Adidas tracksuit, two watches on his left wrist, and multiple rings on his fingers. The female passenger was described as Caucasian, in her 30s, 5'8", and had long blonde hair in a bun. At the time of the incident, she was wearing jean shorts, a black long-sleeved shirt, and a black hat. The suspect vehicle is a red car.
