Kamloops RCMP looking to identify alleged chainsaw thief

Police in Kamloops are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a recent theft.

On Thursday, July 17, the RCMP were called to the 1000 block of Hillside Drive after a man stole a Ryobi chainsaw valued at approximately $700.

“As part of the investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and are releasing it to the public in hopes that someone can make an identification,” said Cpl. Dana Napier.

“If you have seen the suspect, the stolen item, or have information related to this investigation, please contact the police.”
